After fading into obscurity by the 1960s, he was reintroduced as one of Gotham City's most notorious criminals and a more serious threat in the 1970s. The character has developed into an evil incarnate in recent years, enjoying nothing more than tormenting Batman or attempting to turn him into a villain.

I. What is Joker’s IQ?

Joker IQ is estimated to be around 160, which is not really surprising that only 1 in 31570 people can possess this IQ score. His IQ is much lower compared to Batman’s IQ - his enemy. Meanwhile, Batman's IQ is around 192. The Joker is, in fact, more twisted than intelligent. Joker has chosen to use his intelligence in a different way than his archenemy Batman, who uses it to strengthen his arsenal and improve Gotham.

II. Joker IQ and his life

1. Joker Origin

Although many stories have been connected to him, the Joker's true identity and history have never been confirmed in the comics. Nobody is truly aware of who he is.

No account of the Joker's history has been officially confirmed as conclusive, but many of them are dismissed as make-believe tales about the character's past or assertions that he is unaware of it. If I'm going to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple choice, as he says in The Killing Joke: "Sometimes I remember it one way, sometimes another." 

a. Powers and abilities

The Joker uses a variety of "comedic" weapons, including razor-sharp playing cards, acid flowers, cyanide pies, and lethal electric joy buzzers, to carry out his crimes. He also uses Joker Venom, also known as "Happy Gas," a deadly  poison that gives his victims a creepy rictus grin as they pass away while laughing uncontrollably. His primary method of attack since his first appearance until the present has been venom, which can take many different forms, including gas, darts, and liquid poison; he is immune to it. Even his utility belt, which he designed himself, contained all of his weapons. 

Thanks to Joker IQ, he is very knowledgeable in the fields of nuclear engineering, genetics, and chemistry. In a Tim Drake-starring miniseries, the third Robin kidnaps a computer genius while feigning ignorance of computers. He is depicted as being extremely computer literate in later issues, implying that he did his research.

The Joker is a mediocre hand-to-hand fighter. The Joker is faster and more nimble than Batman, despite being stronger, as time has proven. The Joker has a reputation for being able to hold his own against Batman in hand-to-hand combat, but each time Batman subdues him, it is through the use of force.  The Joker, however, has shown to be an expert martial artist as well, as evidenced by the fact that Joker IQ is sky-scraping and he once defeated Batman in a fight without "cheating". 

The Joker has repeatedly avoided death, even in circumstances that seemed hopeless and fatal. The Joker has been caught in explosions, shot numerous times, dropped from great heights, electrocuted, etc., but he always manages to come back fully alive and unharmed to cause mayhem once more.

b. Joker criminal career

The Joker has been ready (and eager) to cause as much destruction as he can to help himself become known as Gotham City's greatest criminal mastermind with Joker IQ of 160, since his first appearance in Batman #1. He has committed crimes that have been both frivolous and inhumanely brutal throughout his decades-long conflict with Batman, all of which have a logic and reasoning that, in Batman's words, "make sense to him alone".

In The Killing Joke, the Joker shoots Barbara Gordon (a.k.a. Batgirl), paralyzing her below the waist. Jason Todd, the second Robin, was also killed by the Joker in the tale "A Death in the Family." A hostage shoots the Joker in the face in Batman #655. After undergoing extensive facial surgery that left him with a permanent smile and unable to speak coherently, The Joker makes a comeback in Batman #663. He commands Harley Quinn to murder his former thugs while he is receiving treatment at Arkham, instructing her to use a more potent version of Joker venom as a sign of his "rebirth." The Joker has already developed resistance to this poison.  

2. Joker and his obsession with Batman

Batman faces a sizable number of adversaries, each of whom has a distinctive way of adhering to the bizarre logic they have dedicated their lives to. But Joker is different from the rest. Joker is not only the criminal ying to Batman's justice yang, but he is also intensely motivated to bring down Batman. Since the debut of Batman comics in 1940, there has been evidence of their shared contempt for one another.

What exactly motivates Joker to give the Caped Crusader so much attention? Well, a lot of people think that Batman stands for everything that the Joker doesn't. However, they don't differ from one another all that much. Batman is a representation of doing what is right, while Joker is outspoken and proud of his detachment from reason. Even so, he continues to perform those good deeds while dressed as a bat. In the struggle for what they deem to be the right thing, they are two souls lost. Both Batman and the Joker have an insatiable appetite for chaos.

So, Joker may have already put an end to Batman with his twisted sense of evil justice. Then he decided against taking that decisive stance because he knew that would bring an end to the decades-long game of cat and mouse. If so, he might have actually beaten us all at our own game. 

III. Joker - The Greatest Villain in the DC Universe

With Joker IQ of 160, he is one of the most recognizable villains across a wide range of media. He is the biggest villain of one of the most well-known fictional characters of the last century, an icon of evil that has captured the imaginations of generations of fans. Part of this is due to his distinctive appearance, but a sizable portion is due to just who he is. 

Even though the MCU is the most profitable, only actors who portray the Joker have ever won an Oscar for their comic book roles. These are key elements that make Joker the greatest villain.

1. His look: The clown motifs, old-school suits, and color scheme are all perfect for the Joker. They all work together to make him one of the most aesthetically pleasing villains ever.

2. His Schemes Are Completely Insane: One of the best things about the Joker is that he has some of the most insane schemes in comic book history. The Joker is not attempting to take over the world. He only cares about money as a means to an end, and his limitations  are straightforward: entertaining himself, causing chaos, and killing Batman.

3. The Outcast: The Joker does not get along with others. Sure, he's had his fair share of sidekicks over the years, but the Joker isn't known for collaborating with other villains. While one could argue that this means he'll always have small-scale ambitions, it also speaks to his independence—Joker doesn't believe he needs help.

4. He is Batman's arch-enemy: Batman is terrified of a few things, but the Joker is at the top of the list. Batman has to deal with a variety of foes both inside and outside of Gotham, but the one who gives him the most pause is the Joker. That's a huge accomplishment.

5. The Joker's Many Faces: The best thing about the Joker is that he can act in so many different ways and that he is constantly changing. Joker IQ is truly exposed on this side. The Joker of today is not the same as the one of ten years ago, who was not the same as the one before that. The Joker changes and evolves with the times; he can be a gangster, a psycho killer, a man with a plan, or any of a variety of other personalities.
